Call to Order
David Merenbach, President of the Board, served as Chair of the meeting, called the meeting to order at 4:00PM and announced that a quorum of the Board members was present and that the meeting, having duly convened, was ready to proceed with business.
Approval of Meeting Minutes
Eli W. announced that the minutes of the May 10, 2023 Board Meeting were approved via email.
Celebrity Lecture Series
Michael Berkowitz lecture June 24, 2023.
Finance Update
Marc C. discussed that our F2F play table count is slowly increasing. Online games are declining. More people are playing F2F at the club than in PABC online games.
Net Operating Income in May was positive and positive Cash Flow. We had positive Net Operating Income and Positive Cash Flow for the first five months of the year, both better than budget.
Sectional/Regional Update
The NLM Sectional for June 16 has 9.5 tables signed up to date.
Firecracker Sectional/NLM Regional – July 5-9
Most items are set for the tournament.
Need more volunteers for Parking, Partnership Desk, Post Tournament takedown.
IFES declined to provide lunch this year, Marc C. will talk to alternatives.
IFES Update
John S. discussed current state of affairs. He has contacted IFES regarding a meeting to discuss our lease.
Practice Swiss Game
The practice Swiss Game Tournament set for June 27 has 5.5 tables signed up to date.
Unit Volunteers Needed
Need a Cards and Flowers volunteer.
Need a marketing/email volunteer.
Need a District Meeting attendee volunteer.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:50PM.
