How to Add Unit Games « Palo Alto Bridge

Adding Unit Games involves initializing them at the start of the year, adding dates as they become available and updating the Unit Game Signup form and Announcement each month.

Log onto WordPress

Go to paloaltobridge.org/wp-admin
Enter your username and password
You will be taken to the ‘Dashboard’ – the main page for editing our site.

Initializing Unit Games

At the start of the year do the following:

Update the Unit Game page

Update the Unit Game page content as necessary
Update the dates on the Unit Game table

Update the Unit Game Events

Copy the Unit Games (Pairs) event from the previous year naming it for the current year.
Update the content as necessary
Update the dates for the current year
Copy the Unit Games (Swiss) event from the previous year naming it for the current year.
Update the content as necessary
Update the dates for the current year

Adding Unit Game dates

Monthly:

Update the Unit Game Signup form
Update the upcoming Unit Game dates in Announcements

As required:

Add Unit Game dates into the Unit Game table
Add Unit Game dates to the Unit Game (Pairs) and Unit Game (Swiss) events
