Adding individual lectures to the Event Calendar is a simple process of duplicating the Lecture Series Template event and changing the lecture title, presenter, date and Excerpt.

Log onto WordPress

  • Go to paloaltobridge.org/wp-admin
  • Enter your username and password
  • You will be taken to the ‘Dashboard’ – the main page for editing our site.

Add a Lecture Event

  • Select Events, or Events > Edit Events
  • Search for the Lecture Series Template event
  • Use the Copy link beneath the event found by search
  • Open the Copy and change the permalink (replace template-copy with the presenter’s-name), Title and Presenter at the top of the description and Date
  • Copy the Title and Presenter and paste it into the Excerpt
  • Publish the event
  • Edit and republish as required
