Website update and maintenance is performed by people in several roles including website administrators, Event Calendar coordinator and game owners.

Website Administrators perform many of the activities required to keep our website up to date and operational.  Activities include:

Start of Year:

  • Update the Governance page
  • Update contact information on web pages and forms
  • Update the Unit Game event descriptions as required

As required:

  • Generate Firecracker, Non-Life Master Sectional and any other special pages
  • Add classes
  • Archive lecture series before the start of each new series
  • All other website updates
  • All website maintenance

Event Calendar Coordinator maintains our Event Calendar by adding events as needed.  Events will typically be:

  • Club Game Status as required – normally done by club owners
  • Unit Games – including adding dates to the Unit Game page.  Unit Game coordinators are responsible for maintaining the Unit Game signup form and responses.
  • Tournaments (this is a highly automated process)
  • Lecture series – including adding dates to the Lecture Series page.
  • Board Meeting dates
  • Silicon Valley Youth Bridge events
  • Miscellaneous other events such as Unit Party, NAP Qualification games, etc.

Game Owners are responsible for adding events describing the status of their games.
