Our annual party was enjoyed by more than 60 people on Zoom. Unit President Gerry MacDonald started the meeting by stating the Unit was in good financial shape and thanking all the people who have participated in games and other activities this year.
Emcee Frank Smoot then led the party in a game of Two Truths and a Lie featuring guest ‘liars’ Gerry MacDonald, Kevin O’Leary and Will Watson.
Following the game Frank announced the winner of this year’s Unit Service Award – John Schwartz – for all he has done for our Unit including updating director licenses and interfacing with our landlord the IFES. John was also awarded District 21’s Goodwill award this year
Following the party 76 pairs played in the Open and 499er pairs Unit game.
