100% Gold Club Championship Game – Saturday June 6

Please carpool if possible – three events in area occurring that morning.

Club Championship Doubleheader!  Play in one game or both!

Each game has Open, Mid-Flight (<3000), 499er, and 49er sections:

  • The 10:00AM morning game awards 100% gold points.
  • The 2:30PM afternoon game awards 100% black points.

Our next celebrity seminar will be by a favorite, Barbara Seagram, on Saturday, June 20 at 9:30AM via Zoom.

Her 2-hour workshop “Stripped and Cornered – End Play Magic” will be a guided tour in fine-tuning your declarer play.  Watch some magic in your declarer play!  Call your partners and join us at this fun seminar!

Annual Firecracker Open Sectional & Non-Life Master Regional

Wednesday, June 24 – Saturday, June 28

The annual 5-day Firecracker tournament is earlier this year due to the earlier summer NABC. Call your friends, partners and support Palo Alto Bridge!

100% silver in the Open Sectional, and 100% gold/red in the NLM Regional.

Open, Mid-Flight, Gold Rush, and 99er Pairs Games.

Newer Players: Come and join many other newcomer players at our new relaxed and friendly Newcomer EZ 0-49 games on Mondays.  This game is a great way to improve your bridge and gain duplicate bridge experience in a welcoming environment!  We can help you find a partner.  Please encourage your friends or family who could be interested in duplicate and need a little cajoling into the Bridge Center!

There will be a short pre-game lecture at 11:00AM by Chris Chung and the duplicate game with 12-14 boards starts at 11:15AM to about 1:15PM.  Helpers will be available to answer limited questions during the bidding.  See attached flyer.  SignUp

For Limited section games, our games are on Tuesdays at 10:45AM and Wednesday evenings at 6:45PM.  SignUp

Palo Alto Bridge offers monthly Swiss team games for you to gain team game experience in a relaxed atmosphere.  Next team club game is on Monday, June 8 at 11:30AM, where the boards are already shuffled and dealt with hand records.  This is a great opportunity to practice for the the Firecracker tournament later this month.  If you need a partner, or help to be matched with another pair, let us know.  Swiss Team games  SignUp

World Champion Debbie Rosenberg gave an excellent and engaging lecture on an interesting and important topic “Forcing versus Non-Forcing Bids” on May 14 at Palo Alto Bridge Center. Thank-you, Debbie!
