What fun!  100 players – Open, 499er and 49er – came to our Hawaiian-themed special club game on July 31.  There was so much color in the Bridge Center!  Aloha attires, leis, and the Bridge Center was beautifully decorated!

Players were encouraged to share an interesting fact about themselves – take a look at the ‘coconut’ notes on the walls in the Bridge Center!

11 prizes were given to those with most interesting facts to share, and lucky players in a drawing.

Courtesy of PBEF, Chris Chung gave a free lecture “Count like a Pro” – his handout is on our website: Free Lecture Series

Sad news to share:

Some of you may remember Beth Cowell – from her son David: “Her Bridge game was vitally important to her rebuilding her life after our dad died. My siblings and I are grateful to the club.”  Here’s her online obituary: Beth Cowell Obituary

Vandana Vidwans recently passed away on July 27.  She was very active at bridge tournaments.

We need you!  Our events and activities are put together by our volunteers, and we want your help.

Any little of your time would be appreciated!

We need volunteers for marketing and publicity (photo-takers, storytellers, email blaster) and help organize a bridge tournament.  Please let me (lizkoh4bridge@gmail.com) know.
