Larry Cohen, worldwide lecturer and 25-time National Champion, will be here in-person to present two one-day seminars designed for Intermediate/Advanced players (though all are welcome). These seminars will cover all-new defense-related topics chosen by Larry and our Unit:
Saturday
- Morning: Review of 3rd Hand Play at Tricks 1 & 2 Versus Suit Contracts
- Afternoon: Inferences on Defense (From 3rd-Hand Play and Declarer’s Play)
Sunday
- Morning: Defensive Strategy Based on Dummy Type
- Afternoon: Discarding Strategy

- 9:00-9:30: Registration
- 9:30-12:00: Lecture and Practice Hands
- 12:00-1:00: Lunch (provided)
- 1:00-3:30: Lecture and Practice Hands
- 3:30: Questions and book signing
Coffee, tea, snacks and a light lunch will be provided.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel on or before May 1, 2020, subject to a cancellation fee or $10 for a one-day registration, $20 for a two-day registration. After that date, you may find a replacement but no refunds will be given.

Larry Cohen is best known as an advocate for the “Law of Total Tricks” as a guide in the bidding. In 2019 his book On The Other Hand, written with co-author David Bird, was given the 2019 ABTA Intermediate Bridge Book of the Year Award. He has won 25 North American Bridge Championships (NABC) events including the Vanderbilt, two Spingolds, two Reisingers, three Life Master Pairs, and four Blue Ribbon Pairs, and he is a two-time winner of the Cavendish Invitational Pairs cash prize tournament.
