We’re delighted to welcome Michael Berkowitz back for two Saturday mornings on counting — the skill that quietly separates good players from very good ones.
Declarers: Stop counting 1-2-3 and think in terms of splits. You’ll be able to figure out what the opponent’s hands look like and picture the full deal.
Defenders: Defense is hard! You’re in the dark for the most part, but using hints from the auction and the lead will allow you to find the best defense.
These lessons will benefit intermediate and more experienced players, although all are welcome.
