Hello bridge lovers!!
The ACBL Educational Foundation is holding a huge fundraiser to benefit youth bridge. You may have already received emails from the ACBL. As we head into the final week of the 2023 SPARK! Bridge Auction I want to personally encourage you to participate. There are great opportunities to learn and enjoy while at the same time supporting junior bridge.
Numerous bridge teachers are offering online lessons at times to be agreed. Many of the top pros from the U.S. and beyond have donated their time. Some are offering a game on BBO, some a 1-hour lesson discussing the topic of your choice, and some both. Might this be the perfect way to try out a new pro or bridge teacher, or give a wonderful gift to a bridge friend?
There is also a special event July 10 at 4pm Pacific. If you are available, don’t miss it! If you haven’t played on Realbridge before that in itself is a treat.
There are a few ways to take part in this event.
- Bid to partner a specific star, bridge teacher or up and coming junior. Many of the juniors who will be representing the U.S. at the World Youth Championship in the Netherlands this August are available.
- Buy a pair entry to play with your own partner
- Buy a ticket to kibitz the game while listening to expert analysis.
