Silicon Valley Youth Bridge

Margot Livenspargar

Margot been a bridge player for more years than she’d like to count. Her father had his male secretary teach her bridge in Okinawa before she returned to the United States to go to college. She played a lot of social bridge as a USAF pilot’s wife but it wasn’t until much later that she was introduced to duplicate bridge. She became a certified director so that there could always be a duplicate game wherever she was.

After her husband retired from the USAF she run a business with him where she performed as Office Manager, Accountant and General Manager.

She served as President and Treasurer for Unit 516 in the High Desert in Southern California. About 15 years ago she moved to the San Francisco Peninsula where she served as secretary on the Unit 503 Board.

Margot is an ACBL certified Club Director and Teacher. She was a director of the EZ Game for newer players for several years. As a SiVY volunteer she has taught after school bridge to elementary and middle school students.
