SUMMARY:Royal Sectional Tournament at Clubs (STaC)
DESCRIPTION:ACBL District 21 is holding face-to-face Royal Sectional Tournament at Clubs (STaC) games\, awarding gold/red/silver/black masterpoints. We are holding STaC games daily at the Bridge Center on Monday\, May 6 – Friday\, May 10\, 2024. \nThere will be Open and Limited stratified sections. \n“Overall” masterpoint awards for these games are based on the total number of players playing those hands in that game that day in all of District 21; District 19; District 22; and District 23. Thus\, “overall” masterpoint awards will be significantly larger than usual. These STaC games are F2F only\, not online on BBO. \nAll games that week are held daily at the Bridge Center at their usual times (note that the Monday May 6 game will begin at 11:30 AM). \nFor planning purposes\, we ask that you make a reservation for games at the Bridge Center.  If you can’t remember your username and password\, just call the director for the day you wish to play. \nCheck out our feature allowing one to use the reservation system to find a partner.  The instructions for doing that are on each reservation page.

SUMMARY:Swiss Team Club Game
DESCRIPTION:Swiss Team games are great fun to play and grant generous master point awards at sectional\, regional\, and national tournaments!  Now you have the chance to play at the club level in our monthly games hosted by John Schwartz and Will Watson. \nThese games are a wonderful opportunity to polish one’s Swiss Team skills throughout the year and especially prior to sectional\, regional\, and national tournaments. If you are less experienced or have never played in a Swiss Team game and would like to play Swiss Teams at future tournaments\, these Swiss Team club games are a perfect opportunity to gain experience in a more relaxed club game environment. For those less experienced Swiss Team players\, here are slides from a Swiss Team strategy lecture from a Swiss Team strategy lecture given in August 2023.. \nThese games will have an Open and a Limited section.  They will award 100% black points. \nNo lunch is provided.   Snacks aree available before and during the game. \nFor planning purposes\, we ask that players sign-up to play at: https://www.signup123.com/unit503bridge/Scripts/slogin.pl  \n\nThe game reservation system is designed for pairs games and not Swiss Teams.
